We're Chad and Melissa Barker, owners of Valleywide Handyman Services — and "family business" isn't just a saying with us. It's literally how the work gets done.

We've been married for 35 years, and we've called Marsing home for most of our lives. We raised our family here, in this little corner of the Treasure Valley, and our roots run deep. When you hire Valleywide Handyman Services, you're not hiring a company from somewhere else. You're hiring neighbors.

The trade runs in our family. Chad is a second-generation flooring installer — his dad installed flooring, and Chad got his start as a young boy, working alongside his dad whenever he could. That's how he learned the craft: hands-on, at his father's side. Those early days became a lifetime of experience — over 40 years of it, across flooring and just about every part of the work we do today.

Today, our son Jordan works alongside his dad — the third generation, learning the trade the same way Chad did: on real jobs, from family.

In November 2019, we founded Valleywide Handyman Services to put that experience to work for the whole valley: painting, flooring, repairs, and remodels across the Treasure Valley. We're a registered Idaho contractor (RCT-53188).
